Baked Brie Topping Mixes from Gourmet Village are a perfect way to elevate your baked soft cheeses.
All you need:
- 1 Pouch Gourmet Village Brie Topping
- 20 ml (4 tsp) orange juice or liqueur
- 1-225g / 8oz small round Brie/Camembert
- 1 French baguette, sliced thinly and toasted on both sides, under the oven broiler
All you do:
Preheat the oven to 180 °C (350°F)
TO PREPARE THE BRIE OR CAMEMBERT: Two ways to prepare the cheese, score the top rind with a knife or remove top rind of cheese, leaving rind on sides and bottom intact.
Place cheese, cut side up, in a Brie Baker or baking dish.
Put contents of Toppings pouch in a small microwave safe bowl, add the liquid and microwave for approximately 60 seconds.
Spread the prepared topping evenly over the top of the cheese.
Place Brie Baker, without lid, in centre of hot oven for 15 - 20 minutes.
Remove from oven & put cover on baker, place on a serving platter and surround with baguette slices.
